I always love cottonrake for a brunch and was so excited to try the new evening menu they’ve started! It did not disappoint, the food was amazing especially the trout, crispy mushrooms and the broccoli. Definitely recommend checking out, amazing service too!
Amazing place for brunch! The food quality was amazing, everything tasted really good and the coffees were done with expertise. We loved the terrace outside and the customer service was quick and efficient. I really commend!!
Turkish eggs and the Breakfast plate (shared with my wife) one of the best brunches i’ve ever had. lovely friendly staff.
The new evening menu was delicious. Everything we ordered from the sharing plates was lovely and thoughtfully prepared and presented especially the fish and shellfish dishes. Very good cocktails too.
Dropped by Cottonrake on a quiet weekday morning for brunch and a catch-up with a friend. No queue, quick service, and a menu with fresh, interesting ideas you don’t see at every brunch spot. The coffee was great, and the food hit the spot. Not the coziest vibe, but a solid choice for a relaxed midweek meet-up.
Came in on Saturday at 08:30. Service was slow but the staff were friendly. I had a coffee and croissant, which they heated without asking (not sure if that's normal here?) it took ages to get the croissant to the table but it was tasty. Would visit again.
We went without a booking and were told that we could get a table in 15 minutes. After that, we had to wait another 5/10 minutes for the table to be set up (despite being told it would take a few seconds). The menu was not the most vegan-friendly, but there were a few options. I loved the pastries - and would definitely recommend getting a croissant!
Coffee, pastries, and ambience were all wonderful. We went to the bakery the day before and had to try the cafe - both were equally great. The porridge (pictured) and brown butter chocolate chip cookies in particular were delicious.
